The Champions are offering the opportunity for some organisations to share best practice ideas and learn about what Champions do that makes them excel at investing in their people.

These opportunities are displayed below. To apply to go on a site visit or join a mentoring scheme you must be registered. Champions and Investors in People UK will approve your application. Contact us for more information.

Champions are offering mentoring support to a small number of organisations by imparting their expertise of working with the Standard. This can vary from a one time meeting to discuss a particular issue or a series of communications to help steer you through a particular stage. To register, please click apply at the bottom of the mentoring section.

  Barnfield College Luton, Bedfordshire Barnfield are available to mentor any organisation, with particular interet in helping those in the Education sector.
 
  ClinPhone Group Nottingham ClinPhone is a global business, providing internet and telephone based technology solutions for clinical trail management in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries. The company is available to mentor any organisation by telephone, email or in person.
 
  South Farnham School Surrey South Fanrham School is available to mentor organisations, both within education and all other sectors. An extensive list of areas of expertise makes this an great choice for all business interested in the Investors in People Standard and Profile.
 
  Nationwide Building Society Swindon and Northampton This multi-site oraganisation is available to mentor via phone, email and face-to-face. Working in a highly competitive market place and using internal review Nationwide is available for mentoring on topics including business planning, learning and development planning, performance management and communications.
 
  Old School House Day Nursery Suffolk This business has developed into two companies - one operating the day nursery and the other a training centre for early years practitioners who go on to work in the daycare sector. It is available to mentor organisations in any sector and willing to communicate over the phone, via eamil or in person at the New Market premises.
 
  TNT UK Warwickshire This "household name" has almost 10,000 staff working in 60 main UK sites and around 150 satellite branches. An extensive list of areas of expertise make it a great option for mentoring over the phone, via email or in person.
 
  St Mary's Girls College Londonderry, Northern Ireland St Mary's Girls' College has been accredited since 1995 and has been successfully reviewed at three-year intervals since. It has gone on to use the Investors in People Leadership & Management Model and has areas of expertise including Leadership & management development, Culture/ style, Managing change and EFQM.
 
  Thomson Directories Limited Farnborough, Hampshire Thomson Directories began operating in 1980 and quickly established itself as one of the leading local directory publishers in the UK. It has been over 10 years since first achieving the Standard, and they now want to share their experiences and expertise with other organisations that are either seeking Investors in People accreditation or working towards Champion status. They are experts in Reward & Recognition, Leadership, Culture & Environment, and Learning & Development. They are available to mentor any organisation via phone, email or in person.
 
  Lyness Group Oldbury, Burmingham This small accountancy practice is available to mentor the public on a variety of topics and help answer questions on the Investors in People recognition process. They “believe that if they can 'spread the word' of best practice and take time to share the best parts of their business with other organisations this country will gain socially and economically. Business owners in the private sector and public sector will 'grow', become sought after as employers and attract and retain the very best people.”
 
  Rivington and Blackrod High School Horwich, Bolton RBHS has a great story to tell and they are very excited and willing to share it with anyone who might benefit from it. They have been involved with the Standard for over seven years, and they are clearly convinced that their success as a school and within the wider community is directly attributable to the IIP Framework. They are eager to mentor the public on a variety of subjects.
 
  Friends Road Medical Practice Croydon, Surrey Friends Road Medical Practice is very proud to have been recognised since 1998. The staff all have ownership of the success that Investors in People has brought to the practice and promote the principals at every opportunity. Therefore, they are excited to share their experiences and show the value of having Investors in People accreditation to other organisations.
 
  Yell Reading, Berkshire Yell is a leading international directories business. They are available to share their experience and learning with organisations looking to become Recognised against Profile and the Standard and on topics including leadership, clarity of direction, recognition, communication, consultation and continuous improvement. They are a large organisation (3,600 people) in the private sector and are willing to help organisations regardless of size of sector. They are available to mentor via scheduled telephone calls or in person at their Reading office.
 
  Café Spice Namaste London CaféSpice Namaste is an Indian restaurant located in the City of London. Over the years, the restaurant has been very focused on developing their staff far beyond their job description. As a result they have a fantastic record of staff retention. Employees are encouraged to widen their skills through training thus allowing them to expand their responsibilities and take a greater role within the organisation. CaféSpice Namaste are willing to share their knowledge and experience in the way they apply The Standard. Mentoring is available over the phone, email or in person.
 
  Carpentry Management Contracting (CMC) Ltd Biggleswade, Bedfordshire CMC, a SME company in the construction industry is offering support to organisations in all sectors wanting to work towards The Standard. Through phone, email or face-to-face mentoring they propose to communicate the valuable teachings they have gained by working with Investors in People.
 
  Chelmsford College Chelmsford, Essex Chelmsford College is available to mentor organisations on a variety of topics, including the benefits that the Standard has brought their organisation.
